Supports the Director of Human Resources and Assistant Director of Human Resources with generalist duties and focuses in recruitment.


*Conduct all pre-screening of line/Management position applicants to include administering the Predictive Index and ability to explain to Management Candidate
*Create and place recruitment advertisements in appropriate news media with EOE,M/F/D/V
*Completes reference checks on those applicants whom the hotel has identified as potential associates
*Ensure the Drug Testing Policy is adhered to for positions that require drug testing only(refer to SOP)
*Ensure completion of I-9 forms-Make sure all is correctly entered into ULTIPRO under the I-9 section
*Develop and maintain Open Employment Report-make sure it is posted weekly or as needed
*Maintain job requisition and associated logs
*Maintain all job posting programs
*Ensure monthly turnover report
*Participates in planning and execution of associate events planned by the Human Resource Department
*In absence of the Director and/or Asst. Director, assumes role & responsibility for the Human Resources Department
*Participates in planning and execution of associate events planned by the Human Resources Department
*Develop associate communications network within the hotel, via bulletin boards, department communication boards, posters and flyers
*Act as liaison to management for all associates
*Clearly and accurately document all associate issues on a timely basis following counseling and disciplinary procedures
*Champions Omni Six Pillars Culture on property, and enthusiastically promotes opportunities within the hotel and company
*Manage HRIS to ensure compliance with applicant flow log, drug testing, I9’s, background & reference check, etc.
*Hold & promote fall and winter job fairs


*Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
*1- 2 years experience recruiting line level associates
*Human Resources management experience preferred (employment, training, benefits…)
*Hotel experience strongly preferred
*Excellent computer skills: Outlook, Word, Excel, Access
*Must be highly organized and detail oriented
*Experience working with different agencies and recruiters preferred
*Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening
*Must be available to work nights, holidays, and weekends
*Must be able to travel up to 40% of position if recruitment trips resume, both domestically and abroad
